CE marking for bathing houses
The CE marking applies to building materials and electrical equipment. CE is not mandatory for the floating house itself, if it is less than 24m and is not commercial. All electrical appliances must be CE marked in accordance with EU directives.
Certification of pontoons
BIRKENS HDPE pontoons are manufactured according to ISO 9001. They are certified against UV radiation, chemical effects and impacts. 15-year warranty. Each pontoon is hydrostatically tested.
Fire safety standards
Building materials must have fire resistance class B-s2,d0. Mandatory: fire extinguisher, smoke detectors, CO detector (if gas). Evacuation routes must be marked.
